Description
Size: 8ft 10in x 3ft 1in (270 x 95cm).Antique Baluch runner, camel ground with soft red border.
Circa 1900.
Baluch runners are quite scarce, this is an excellent example with camel ground and repeat bird head medallion design. This design is repeated in the soft red border. The ends both have the original flat weave finishes, these are decorated with a row of birds.
The runner is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use such as an entrance hall.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
