Description
Size: 2ft 5in x 1ft 5in (74 x 43cm).Old Afghan bag of small size with Turkmen design.
Circa 1920.
This small bag would have been used for transporting and storing personal belongings, it has a piled face and a plain weave back. The design is typically found in Turkmen weaving.
The bag is in excellent condition with very slight wear and good pile. The bag could easily be filled to make a small cushion.
The bag has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
