Description
Size: 7ft 7in x 4ft 1in (231 x 132cm).Antique Kordi rug from Eastern Persia, Khorasan region.
Circa 1900.
A Kordi rug with a diamond lattice design in alternate rows of dark and light indigo blue. Each diamond contains a floral design. The light indigo blue field is heavily abrashed as can be seen in the images and has a band of very light blue through the middle of the rug... this is not a repair.
The rug is in good condition with very some wear and good / medium pile. The rug has very good wool and also retains the original kilims at both ends.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display, the rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
