Description
Size: 17ft 11in x 11ft 3in (545 x 343cm).An exceptional and scarce example of a very large size traditional Afghan Sulayman carpet by Ersari Turkmen weavers.
Circa 1900.
The carpet has three rows of eight large Sulayman guls, the carpet has a very good soft burnt orange colour with the design in dark indigo blue.
The carpet is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile.
The carpet is suitable for normal domestic use.
The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
