Size: 10ft 1in x 7ft 11in (308 x 242cm).Antique Faraghan village carpet of unusual design with superb colour.
Circa 1880.
This is a very good example of a Faraghan small carpet with an all over design, the carpet has a light powder blue field covered with a large scale design of unusual form. The yellow / gold wide border is the outstanding feature of this carpet, it gives the whole carpet a very light and elegant feel.
The carpet is in excellent condition with even wear and medium pile.
The carpet is suitable for normal domestic use. The carpet is of a very useful small room size.
The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
