Description
Size: 4ft 9in x 3ft 9in (145 x 114cm).Antique Persian tribal rug by the Afshar tribe, a rug of scarce small size.
Late 19th century.
A good rug of classic Afshar design, with excellent drawing and colour of small size. The borders are all classic Afshar designs. The light indigo blue in the field is outstanding.
Good condition with even wear and medium/low pile, some corrosion to the blacks
Hand washed and ready for use or display
