Description
Size: 7ft 7in x 4ft 2in (230 x 127cm).Antique Kurdish long rug with a repeat all over shrub design.
Late 19th century.
The rug has bands of colour across the width in soft terracotta red, greens and blues. The main border design is found in Kurdish weaving and Caucasian weaving.
The rug is in good condition with even wear and medium pile, there is one old repair to the field which is well blended to the front of the rug but visible on the reverse, this is reflected in the price.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display, the rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
