Description
Size: 6ft 7in x 4ft 2in (200 x 127cm).A good antique Turkish Maden rug from central Anatolia.
Circa 1900.
The rug is of fine weave with soft wool, there are two medallions on a rich deep red field, there are large flowers in each corner and a light coloured floral border.
The rug is in excellent condition with even wear and medium pile. There is some corrosion to the charcoal colour in the corner of the field. The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
