Description
Size: 2ft 9in x 2ft 6in (83 x 76cm).Antique Baluch saddle bag face with 'star in octagon' design.
Circa 1900.
The saddle bag is of well known 'star and octagon' design. The field is filled with stars and many tribal design elements. The bag face has superb soft glossy wool and a very floppy handle. The bag face retains the original end finishes with very fine detailed weft work decoration.
The saddle bag face is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and good pile.
The bag face has been hand washed and is ready for display.
