Description
Size: 4ft 10in x 3ft 1in (147 x 94cm).Antique Western Anatolian Bergama region village rug, of very simple rustic design.
Circa 1900.
A good rug of small size, with bold graphic design. The drawing is very simple with two latch hook medallions contained within a larger central medallion. The rug is framed by a floral rosette border. The rug has superb colour giving it an almost abstract form.
The rug has even wear and medium pile, the rug retains the original kilim end finish at both ends.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display
