Description
Size: 3ft 2in x 1ft 3in (97 x 38cm).Antique Shahsavan or south Caucasian mafrash panel, with traditional design.
Circa 1890.
A good Shahsavan mafrash panel in soumak technique. The colours are superb and all natural. The panel is probably from the side of a large storage bag.
The mafrash panel is in original condition with slight even wear and no repairs. There is old wear losses to the lower corners as can be seen in the images.
The mafrash panel has been hand washed and is ready for display.
