Size: 6ft 7in x 4ft 4in (200 x 133cm).Antique Tekke Turkmen rug of traditional design and excellent colour, the rug is of a soft red colour.
Circa 1900.
The rug has a traditional Tekke gul design with 3 rows of 12 guls. The border is the sun burst design, both ends retain the original kilim finish. The rug has soft wool and a floppy handle.
The rug is in fair condition with even wear, heavier in places and medium / low pile. Note the old brass hanging rings stitched along on side.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
