Description
Size: 4ft 1in x 10in (125 x 26cm) face size.Antique Tekke Turkmen torba of very fine weave.
Circa 1900.
A good Tekke torba with excellent colour and good wool. The torba has survived very well with all the original long tassels still intact. These torba were used to decorate the side of a camel during a Turkmen wedding procession.
The torba is in excellent condition with slight wear and good pile.
Hand washed and ready for display.
