Description
Size: 6ft 7in x 3ft 11in (200 x 120cm).Antique Afghan village rug of traditional Ersari Turkmen design.
Circa 1900/20.
The rug has 2 rows of 4 very large Ersari Turkmen guls, the rug has a warm madder red ground with some very good indigo blues in the guls. Both ends retain the original checkerboard end finishes.
The rug is in excellent condition with some very slight wear and full pile. The wool on this rug is superb, very soft.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
