Description
Size: 8ft 6in x 7ft 3in (258 x 220cm).Modern hand knotted Afghan Ersari Turkmen main rug from Northern Afghanistan.
About 10 years old.
This fine rug has 3 rows of 5 large goli guls in the style of a 19th century tribal carpet.
The rug is woven with superb glossy wool and rich natural dyes, there are decorative kilim end finishes at both ends.
The carpet is in excellent condition with no wear and full pile.
The carpet is suitable for heavy domestic use.
The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
The very glossy wool made this difficult to photograph, the light areas are just the wool reflecting the photographic lighting, this is not visible on the actual carpet.
