Description
Size: 2ft 2in x 1ft 10in (65 x 56cm).Antique South Caucasian bag with striped plain weave back.
Circa 1900.
The bag face is well drawn with a ivory ground central panel containing a floral design. The main border is in a design often found on Caucasian rugs.
The bag is in outstanding original condition with full pile, the top end retains the original closing loops and lappets.
The bag face has been hand washed and is ready for display.
A very good collectable bag in superb display condition.
