Description
Size: 13ft 9in x 9ft 11in (420 x 302cm).Antique Heriz carpet with a very well-drawn and striking large medallion on a burgundy red field.
Circa 1900.
The carpet has a large central medallion of traditional Heriz design with yellow highlights, the ground colour is a superb rich burgundy wine red with the open floral spray design in pastel colours. The spandrels are in ivory with the indigo blue classic floral Heriz border framing the carpet well. The border is of one of the less common Hheriz designs.
A superb designers carpet for that timeless country house look.
The Carpet is in excellent condition with even wear and good pile.
The carpet is suitable for normal domestic use such as a living or dining room.
The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
