Description
Size: 8ft 2in x 5ft 0in (250 x 153cm).Old Afghan rug of traditional Turkmen design, the rug is a soft red colour.
Circa 1960.
The rug is of fine weave, it has 3 rows of 13 Tekke guls and a sunburst main border.
The rug is in very good condition with some slight wear and good pile, the fringes are slightly worn at the ends and there is slight wear to the side bindings in places, this is reflected in the price.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
