Size: 5ft 2in x 3ft 3in (158 x 100cm).Antique Ersari Beshir Turkmen chuval with the ikat design.
Circa 1880.
Superb example with wonderful colours and good drawing, the indigo blues are particularly attractive. The chuval also has some very soft yellow in the ikat design and border. The elem is a row of Turkmen trees or shrubs.
The chuval is in excellent condition with very slight wear and good pile. The chuval has a very soft and floppy handle. There is one old repair to the top right hand corner..
The chuval has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
