Size: 5ft 1in x 3ft 4in (155 x 102cm).Antique Ersari Turkmen 12 gul chuval face with good colour. The elem design is a stylised tree design.
Circa 1900.
Chuval are storage bags used by the nomads to transport goods, the faces are piled so make very good small rugs. This example originates from the border region of Northern Afghanistan and Southern Turkmenistan.
The chuval is in good condition with even wear and medium pile. The chuval is suitable for normal domestic use.
Hand washed and ready for use or display.
