Size: 12ft 0in x 3ft 5in (366 x 105cm).Antique Caucasian Shirvan runner from the South Eastern Caucasus.
Circa 1890.
A very good example of a Shirvan runner, fine weave and outstanding colours. The field is a diagonal stripe design with small square filler elements. The border is a repeat latch hook design.
The runner is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile. There is slight corrosion to the blacks.
The runner is suitable for normal domestic use.
The runner has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
