Size: 3ft 11in x 1ft 9in (120 x 53cm).Antique Persian tribal Luri Khorjin with plain weave back.
Circa 1900/20.
The saddle bag faces are very well drawn with a central hooked medallion.
The design is typical of the Fars region Luri tribe , with a traditional border containing small rosettes. The decorative closing lappets are still in place at the top of each side. The bags have a plain weave back which has multi coloured stripped decoration.
The Khorjin is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile.
The khorjin has been hand washed and is ready for display.
