Description
Size: 6ft 9in x 5ft 5in (207 x 165cm).Antique Afghan village rug of traditional Tekke Turkmen design with 3 rows of 12 large Tekke guls.
Circa 1900/20.
The rug has a deep madder red colour with ivory and orange in the guls. Both ends have the original kilim end finishes, note the row of stars at each end before the kilim..
The rug is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and good pile, the rug has a firm handle.
The rug is suitable for heavy domestic use such as an entrance hall or living room.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
