Description
Size: 1ft 9in x 1ft 9in (54 x 53cm).Antique Shahsavan saddle bag face in soumak technique.
Circa 1880.
A pleasing soumak bag face in a classic Shahsavan diagonal stripe design, superb natural dyes throughout.
The bag face is in good original condition with slight wear, There is a small area of damage to the lower left corner and 'closing slits' have been cut into the top end. These faults are reflected in the price.
The bag face has been hand washed and is ready for display.
