Description
Size: 7ft 11in x 5ft 3in (242 x 159cm).Antique South Caucasian Armenian Kazak rug with triple linked medallion with a star border.
Circa 1900.
A superb example of an Armenian Kazak rug. The medallions are surrounded by tribal elements. The rug has a well drawn eight pointed star border.
The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile, the rug has excellent wool with good glossy pile. There are one or two small well done old repairs that are very difficult to find.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
