Size: 3ft 11in x 2ft 10in (120 x 87cm).Old Afghan prayer rug of traditional village mosque design, probably Kizil Ayak Turkmen.
Circa 1900/20.
The rug is of typical mosque design showing two mosques at the top and the field depicting the inside of a mosque.
The rug is in fair condition with some wear and corrosion, medium to low pile.
The rug is of fine weave with a floppy handle, both ends retain the original end finishes.
The rug is suitable for light domestic use and is suitable for wall hanging.
