Description
Size: 4ft 8in x 2ft 9in (143 x 85cm).Old Afghan prayer rug of unusual mosque design, probably Kizil Ayak Turkmen.
Circa 1920.
The rug is of unusual mosque design showing a mosques with 10 tall slender minarets.
The rug is in good condition with slight wear and medium pile.
The rug is of fine weave with a floppy handle, both ends retain the original end finishes with weft work decoration.
The rug is suitable for light domestic use and is suitable for wall hanging.
