Description
Size: 4ft 4in x 4ft 0in (133 x 122cm).Antique South Persian Afshar tribal rug with single medallion design.
Late 19th century.
A superb Afshar rug with wonderful colour and drawing of simple single medallion design. This very small almost square rug has outstanding colour and dye quality.
As found condition with wear that is heavy in places, the outer parts are mostly good pile with the heavier wear towards the middle.
Hand washed and ready for use or display.
