Description
Size: 3ft 10in x 2ft 10in (118 x 87cm).Antique Tekke Turkmen rug of small size, with very fine weave, good colour.
Circa 1900.
A small Tekke Turkmen rug with 2 rows of 7 Tekke guls on a clear red ground, the border is the Turkmen sun burst design.
The rug has excellent wool and a soft floppy handle. The rug retains the original ivory kilim end finish at the lower end.
The rug is in good condition with some wear and good pile.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
