Description
Size: 6ft 11in x 4ft 1in (210 x 124cm).Antique Caucasian triple medallion Kazak rug dated 1310 / 1892 with an inscription.
Dated 1892.
The rug has three medallions on a terracotta field, the rug is framed by a soft gold border. The lower medallion contains the date and inscription. Note the small birds, there is also a human figure, animal and a water ewer on the left hand side.
The rug is in fair condition with some heavy wear and low pile, there are also some losses to the sides and ends. This is reflected in the price.
The rug is suitable for normal light use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
