Description
Size: 6ft 7in x 3ft 5in (200 x 104cm).Old Afghan village rug of traditional floral lattice design.
Circa 1920/30.
The rug is an excellent rich red colour with dark indigo, the lattice design is a variant of the mina khani (many flowers) design, the border is typical of Western Afghanistan.
The rug is in good condition with slight even wear and good pile, there are one or two spots of heavier wear, this is reflected in the price.
The rug is suitable for heavy domestic use such as a entrance hall or doorway.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
