Description
Size: 3ft 10in x 2ft 11in (117 x 89cm).Antique Ersari Turkmen rug of excellent design and colour, the rug is of a very scarce small square size; the rug is of a soft brown field colour with clear reds.
Circa 1900.
The rug has two large Ersari guls to the field and a classic Ersari Turkmen border. Note the small highlight details in yellow.
The rug has very good soft wool and excellent colour.
The rug is in fair condition with wear and medium / low pile, there are some old repairs and re-piled areas. The sides and ends are a little ragged and have some losses. The condition is reflected in the price.
The rug is suitable for light domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
