Description
Size: 3ft 10in x 2ft 11in (118 x 90cm).Modern hand knotted Afghan prayer rug with a Beshir Turkmen inspired design.
About 10 years old.
A charming small village prayer rug with Beshir Turkmen rams horn design and floral vine to the field. The field colour is a soft golden cream colour with pastel colours used for the floral vine.
The rug is woven with very soft glossy wool.
The rug is in excellent condition with no wear and full pile, I would think that this rug has never been used since it was purchased in Northern Afghanistan about 10 years ago.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
