Description
Size: 3ft 9in x 2ft 5in (114 x 74cm).Old Afghan Turkmen village prayer rug with Turkmen inspired design.
Circa 1920.
The rug has two rows Turkmen guls with a rams horn mihrab above them.
The rug is a typical Afghan red colour with an ivory ground border.
The rug is in fair condition with some wear and medium pile. The rug retains the original kilims at both ends. The price reflects the condition.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
