Description
Size: 11ft 6in x 7ft 3in (350 x 222cm).A traditional Afghan village carpet by Ersari Turkmen weavers.
Circa 1900/20.
The carpet has three rows of seven large guls, the border design is very detailed, the design in the large guls indicates the village and family group who wove the carpet.
The carpet is in fair condition with some heavy wear and medium / low pile. The carpet has plenty of life left in it but the wear will not make it everyone's taste. Ideal for a farmhouse or rustic lived with look. The condition is reflected in the price.
The carpet is suitable for normal domestic use.
The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
