Description
Size: 5ft 7in x 2ft 10in (170 x 87cm).Antique Afghan Baluch rug from western Afghanistan with diamond lattice design.
Circa 1900.
A good Baluch rug with a diamond lattice design in alternate rows of indigo blue and madder red. The large scale border is of classic Baluch 'boat' design.
The rug is in good condition with even wear and medium pile. The rug also retains part of the original kilim end finishes with weft work decoration.
The rug is suitable for light domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
