Description
Size: 3ft 6in x 2ft 4in (106 x 70cm).Vintage Afghan prayer rug with two rows of five guls to the field and a ram’s horn mihrab at the top of the rug.
Circa 1950.
The rug is of a traditional design attributed to the Kizyl Ayak Turkmen of Northern Afghanistan.
The rug is in good condition with even wear and medium pile.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
