Description
Size: 4ft 5in x 3ft 6in (135 x 106cm).Antique Tekke Turkmen rug of small square size, with very fine weave, good colour.
Circa 1900.
A small Tekke Turkmen rug with 3 rows of 7 Tekke guls on a terracotta red ground, the border is the Turkmen sun burst design.
The rug has good wool and a soft floppy handle. The rug retains the original large elem end panels at both ends.
The rug is in good condition with some wear and good pile.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
