Description
Size: 2ft 6in x 1ft 10in (76 x 56cm).Old Qum rug with all over boteh stripe design.
Circa 1950.
The rug is of a very small mat size known as 'pushti', the design is beautifully drawn in clear soft colours, this design is often called the 'shawl design' after the famous Kashmir Paisley design shawls.
The rug is in outstanding condition with very slight even wear and full pile.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use and has been hand washed.
