A scarce example of one of the most beautiful of all nomadic tribal designs woven by the Khamseh tribe. A few known rugs of this design are published in the leading books on tribal rugs.
The rug is of very fine weave with the floral design woven in natural dyes with wonderful saturated colours; making this a wonderful wall hanging or a statement on the floor of any room.
The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile. The rug has always been very thin and light weight due to the fineness of the weave. There are a few scattered old re-weaves that are very hard to detect.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
